Olive Oil Bars: Could They Be Done?

By Rob Sutter

There is a great level of attraction that comes from a restaurant which people can eat as much as they'd like at a set price. Buffets are the types of places which people can go to and make certain that they can get their money's worth or even more, depending on how hungry they are. It's a system which people have utilized for quite some time. Olive oil can probably work in the same matter, as long as a few rules are put in place beforehand.

When talking about buffets which may specialize in olive oil, I think it goes without saying that there should be quite a number of them. Bellucci Premium, amongst other companies that work with these types of oils, can cite a number of them and each of them have their own tastes or subtle accents to separate them from one another. From extra virgin to Tuscan, there's no doubt that people are going to like certain types. It's just a matter of experimenting.

It'd be wrong to expect a place like this to have only oil to try. As a result, you should be certain that there would be a number of foods to try these oils with, bread being one such example. There are many types that afford to be utilized and the tastes people have are going to dictate them. I believe that salad also stands a chance of being fixed, oil types being drizzled over it in lieu of typical dressing. These choices only scratch the surface of the proverbial iceberg.

While sampling certain types of oil isn't something that's entirely new, the truth is that it wasn't exactly done in terms of a buffet. There are stores where people can go in and try different types but I argue how much variety there is. I don't believe that you're going to get as diverse a range of products as you would probably like with these places. Lunch and dinner restaurants are, in my opinion, a better choice for attracting people who may be intrigued.

Not only would people enjoy the taste of these oils but I think that they would benefit greatly from the health properties they contain as well. The truth is that with most oils, they contain mostly bad fats and the body would be hindered thanks to them. Olive oil is different in that they monounsaturated fats, meaning that the body can actually benefit from them and that isn't even accounting for the antioxidant supply they have as well. It serves as another reason for this idea to come to fruition.
