Tips For Building SEO Authority With Internal Back-Links And Youtube Playlists

By Ayub Farooq

If you're looking to improve your SEO results and get more organic and targeted search engine traffic, be sure and combine good internal linking with proper You Tube playlists. It used to be that Web 2.0 sites were all the rage when it came to search engine optimization and getting higher rankings. These web 2.0 sites were used for two powerful reasons. Placing links with keyword optimized anchor test on these sites than linked to a page on your own site, for which you were trying to rank for that keyword phrase, did in fact boost your rankings!

Google also assigns authority rankings to domains, and a link from a domain that is considered authoritative is worth more than a link from a newer, less established, and less popular domain. This is important because it can be used as a guide for where you should try to source your links from.

One particularly good source of incoming links is YouTube. Building YouTube playlists that focus on specific topics is a good starting point for establishing yourself as an authority in whatever niche you are interested in. YouTube playlists enjoy good visibility in the search engines themselves, because they benefit from being hosted on a Google-owned service. This means that they get seen by a lot of people, and are good for traffic.

It's a way to get links, and it's still done, but not like it used to be. However, there is still a very powerful strategy for these sites and that's being very niche specific. What does that mean? Well, Google is looking at certain sites as more authoritative for certain niches and keyword topics.

There have been certain updates that have made creating a successful web 2.0 private blog network much harder, but it is still very possible and many men and women are utilizing private blog networks to rank to this day. Make sure to make the site look as legitimate as possible and slowly link back to your money site and you will be seeing boosts in rankings in no time.

Spend some time with your market and your keywords in the search engines and find the web 2.0 properties that rank well and create your own accounts and publish content. For your niche it may be Blogger and Pinterest, while another niche might get powerful results with Tumblr and You Tube. It doesn't mean other web 2.0 properties are worthless to you, just that some may give you a lot more bang for your search engine optimization buck.
