Importance Of Fair Trade Market Organizations

The fair trade market is a social organization that aims at promoting sale of produce by producers in developing countries that promotes flat pricing and sustainability. This organization also champions for the promotion of higher set social and environmental standards.

The primary focus of these groups is on export goods provided by these countries such as coffee, tea, cocoa handcraft items and sugar among others. There are several internationally acknowledged flat business based organizations and certifier but the most commonly known is the FT international formerly known as the FT labeling organization.

In the spirit of flat level based business interaction, most organizations have members certified by one or more national and international organizations. These thereafter provide coordination, promotion and facilitate for the working of FT organizations. In the category of the larger unilateral business groups, the FT labeling organization is major player. Formed in the year nineteen ninety-seven it is an organization comprising of three-producer networks band twenty national labeling institutions.

These are often given the duty of developing the standards for this type of marketing system, licensing the buyers and marketing the mark of certification of these organizations. This system however only allows certain goods and products from very specific countries. Some of the goods like coffee and tea require to be produced by cooperatives otherwise; their sale is greatly restricted if otherwise produced.

The fair trade federation association (FTF) was created in nineteen ninety-four as an association of Canadian and American flat based consumer market wholesalers, importers and retailers. This organization acts as a clearing house for information on these types of markets and providing resources and marketing for its members. This group also links its members to these organization's producers groups. In this organization those who sell their goods through it must self certify their adherence to defined principles of this school of thought for a hundred percent of their purchasing or business.

The European Air Trade Organization (EFTA) was formulating in nineteen ninety as an alternative by European trading organizations. It imports products from over four hundred economically underdeveloped countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. It aims for the promotion of level consumer platform and aims to make it more efficient and effective with the publication of an annual report on development of level consumer platform. This organization constitutes of eleven members from nine different countries.

The formation of F. I. N. E., as an informal organization of the various organizations aimed at harmonizing the fair trade markets standards and guidelines. This would sufficiently increase the efficiency and quality of business for the level market based system. This also means that the organization is able to deal with the issues concerning unilateral marketing policies politically.

The fair trade market organizations offer producer countries that are not economically stable an opportunity to sell their goods at a fair price. They provide non profit branding of export goods. Therefore, the seller earns more than before. In addition, they also help sellers to sell their produce effectively by introduction of consumer networks.
