Coin: Where Does Bobby Jain Come In?

By Rob Sutter

It seems as though there are many different points that can come into play as far as credit and debit cards, to name a few, are concerned. Coin is the system to speak about and it may prove to be most of the most convenient programs that could be implemented into anyone's life. However, what are some of the specific aspects that will be covered thanks to the work of Bobby Jain, you may wonder? Here are just a few that can be taken into account.

I believe that Coin, based on the details, can actually be a surprisingly simply process. After all, the system is brought into effect due to the swiping of various cards, whether they are rooted in credit, debit, or what have you. Once pictures have been taken of the front and back, you will be able to select your preferred method of payment from that point. It is a system that, at the very least, deserves attention because of how unique it is compared to others in terms of finance.

What are some of the aspects which can raise doubt on the matter, you may wonder? One of them has to do with the idea that it was backed by a fundraiser, which arguably is not a terrible point to take into consideration. However, I feel as though there are doubts on the matter, especially when there were projects that were funded in the past and they had never come into fruition. There were even projects that did but failed to meet expectations; the Ouya comes to mind.

I believe that there is a certain level of uniqueness that comes with Bobby Jain and many others will be able to agree on the matter. Coin, seeing as how it is a rather unique system that has not been seen of at this level, is one that carries the potential of glitches. It seems as though every new piece of technology has those sorts of issues, as names such as Jain would tell you. It may be in your best interest, then, to carry your original cards, too.

This isn't to say that I believe Coin will be a flop because I think that there is potential to be had. People are looking for convenience in the long term, after all, and I think that such an element can come about thanks to the inclusion of a system of this caliber. This can make carrying about cards less of an issue, provided the system is able to prove itself. Even though it is only an idea at this point, the fact that it met its goal of $50,000 leads me to believe that it will come about.
