Why Are Argan Oil Products Scarce By Nature?

By Robert Sutter

Anyone who is remotely familiar with argan oil products understands just how helpful they are in the long term. They are easily some of the finest when it comes to making your hair and skin stand out much better than they ever have before. That being said, there seems to be a few concerns regarding the rarity of the actual oil in question. What is the reason for the scarce nature of this item and why is it that so many people seem to desire it more as a result?

The oil associated with argan oil products only grows on trees located in southwest Morocco in Africa. If this wasn't enough, the tree themselves are hidden within the region, which only helps to make them that much more difficult to locate. Companies like NewVo Beauty understand just how desirable this substance is, though, and how it can help a number of people. The fact that so many people are willing to pay top dollar for the items which incorporate it is astounding and it goes to show where the money is.

These trees only find themselves growing in Morocco and there are many reasons for this. Keep in mind that the proper climate is needed in order for plants to thrive; argan trees are no exception, meaning that you couldn't feasibly grow them in the United States. Certain temperatures should be maintained and I do not believe that the hottest climate in the States could match any of Africa's. This means that there is only one particular region in which results could be found in the long term.

There seems to be difficulty in terms of cultivating this type of oil and there are a few reasons for this. Perhaps the biggest one has to do with the argan trees and how rare it is that they will bear fruit. According to a few authorities, this occurs every 30 years - at the earliest - and the fact that only a single liter of oil is produced does not help matters. Drought may come about, which is another factor in terms of the price this substance goes for.

There is still a tremendous amount of demand when it comes to argan oil products and I feel as though no one will be able to argue with such a sentiment. These items contain a number of natural properties and they work to help both the skin and hair stand out that much more. The question is, though, will these benefits exist in the long term? If you're willing to invest in this type of oil time and time again, such benefits will show no signs of fading.
