Uzi Tactical Defender Pens are smart designs which cater to a certain degree of personal protection, yet they continue to be a perfectly legal item to carry with you. However, some more obvious designs are still picked up by airport terminal security. Many tactical pens can be a bit excessive in terms of cost, but if you want to protect your bank account as well as yourself, then the Uzi Tactical Defender Pens are a fantastic option. They are increasingly affordable however they still offer a selection of useful features.
In general, tactical pens are more of a novel idea rather than a reliable means of personal protection. The price tag echoes this, and the majority people will be willing to buy an Uzi Pen for a silly extra bit of kit and not a guaranteed means of personal protection. These defender pens will create a good amount of concentrated power, and when this is employed to the right part of the body this can prove to be successful. But it really doesn't look very threatening and if somebody noticed you with it, they wouldn't be particularly scared! In other words, it is not an effective deterrent to potential attackers. I'd suggest you should only have it out if you are genuinely prepared to use it, otherwise you'll end up being laughed out of town.
The pen function isn't necessarily the best design, although I have never had any issues myself some people have complained about the ink cartridges. Some people even complain about the number of times the pen needs to be twisted to retract the nib but this is a little over the top and doesn't need to be mentioned. As if that matters. You get used to it! It's a lot easier than losing a lid, and with other features built into the end of the pens you can't really have one with a push top. Uzi Pens offer great value for money and I am quite happy to turn the pen a few more times to write with it.
Despite the criticisms that some people have, the Uzi Tactical Pens I have used are incredibly tough and well made. There is obvious quality in the materials used and I was quite pleasantly surprised with the high quality in relation to the affordable price. Many have interesting additional features but Uzi manage to keep all of their models affordable.
There are various different variations of Uzi Pen. Some can help you with personal defence as I have stated. These features are often combined with a DNA catcher. A few have a concealed handcuff key while some others have glass breakers on the tip. I've tried to figure out when this would come in handy. I'm guessing that in a few police or perhaps security positions then having this feature at your fingertips would be comforting if not helpful. Uzi pens will have a version with every feature you need, plus some you probably didn't even think of.
